It’s not until you’re alone in your room when you realise that you’re completely alone. That there is no one there for you. You’re isolated. Lost. Hurt. That’s when all those tears you’ve been holding back come flooding. They cascade down your cheeks taking your mascara with them. That’s the point when you realise, you’ve been too strong for too long. You don’t have anyone to talk to. So you weep, until no more tears can be formed. You hug your pillow to your chest to hide the sobs, so no one can hear you. But it won’t be long until you’re up again faking the same old smile, pretending to be happy.
